ARO67: A Minister’s abandoned farmstead at Greeanan, Strath Brora, Sutherland

The history of this early to mid-18th century steading to its abandonment in the early 20th century, is traced through documentary records, by excavation and by examination of material cultural evidence. The steading was under the stewardship of Walter Ross during the 19th century at a time of Highland Clearances in the Brora area.
